August 23, 2012
First week of school, not too to bad. With all the information that has been thrown at me I really don't see how anything could be more complicated than this. I really do think I am going to really start to enjoy classes once I start to get the hang of things and once I get used to the way things work and all that. This is my first time doing a blog so college really does come with new experiences. At the beginning of the week I was a bit frustrated and overwhelmed and hearing about our first project I was absolutely clueless, and there are still a few things I don't understand, but I think things will be getting better.
Throughout the week I have thought about what I want to do for my poster, and right now I believe that I have a really cool and neat idea of using the iPod as my object. I want to be able to depict how listening to music has changed over the centuries and how the device is so small, but yet it is so complex and is more like all the CDs, radios, tapes, movies and all those devices pulled together as one. I think it is a really cool idea, I don't know I guess we will have to wait and see how the first critique goes. Because my object is a little more complex than others I hope and think it will help my project stand out more, but like I said we will just have to see.
Today in class I was really intrigued by the Color Systems lecture. It really sparked my interest. With wanting to be an interior designer and what not, one of the many things we have to do is really pay attention to color and how it is reflected and viewed by our clients and other people. So I am hoping I will learn a lot more about it.

So lets keep moving forward one day at a time. BDS Color Lecture 2012
